Heaven's Amusement Park

Kiersten grabbed my hand and dragged me along the white hallway to where the roller coaster was loading up. "Hurry up!" She climbed into the only seat. "Watch me, Mama!"

I watched, smiling, as she went around the short track three, then four times. She laughed, her dark hair flying out behind her. As she got out of the car and ran around to re-enter the non-existent line, she yelled, "Come on with me this time!" I climbed in with her, then noticed she was not sitting in the seat, but floating next to me. She was in some sort of water slide, whooshing along on her back. Laughing, she grabbed my hand again. I felt so happy. Then I remembered.

"You're not real, are you?"

She looked at me briefly, "No Mama. I'm just in your dream."

"So you haven't come back?"

"No, Mama. But we can play for now."

"So I'll wake up and you won't be here."

She nodded. "Uh-huh."

Then she hugged me. I could feel her arms around me, could smell her hair. I felt her in my arms, whole and solid. My joy was transcendent.

"If I know it's a dream, why am I still here? Don't you have to go? Am I awake?"

"Not yet. Let's ride another ride."

Then my alarm went off.

A gift?

I'd like to think so.

Except now I want her to stop by every night.

"A gift" was my first thought too.

I had a dream like that after my brother was killed ... very vivid. Very much a visit. He too told me that he "couldn't stay."

Love you, Beth.

Oh wow....how wonderful was THAT? I am waiting patiently for Tony to contact me somehow...and looking forward to it.

Shortly after my mom died, my dad told me about a dream he had about her. He happened upon her in some sort of hallway, discovered her, if you will. She turned to him, and they said a million things to each other without saying anything at all, and then he woke up.

It was a gift, for sure.

Good Lord, I don't know what else to say. Your dream seems so much better than the one my dad had. I'm sorry your alarm went off when it did.

THIS life is the dream, although not always a pleasant one. Kiersten came to visit you and to show you the REAL side of life. You and she will ride the roller coaster many times one day, Beanie, and for as long as you want.

Big hugs to you and yours.

If we could only wish these dreams every night. A very dear friend who passed when I was 17 (now 42) has visited me twice since his death. I can remember those visits like they were yesterday. I pray for you...

I was listening to the radio one morning on the way to work. It was the Brian and Joe Radio show , and they had some regular on their show, a medium or spiritualist, a ghost talker, something like that...
Anyway, I will always remember one comment she made. She said that when a person dreamed of a loved one who had died, it meant that loved one had crossed over, and was not "stuck" here. Don't know why I remember that so vividly.

I am happy you had some precious moments with your angel.
